| WOW!!!! its been forever since i posted....no really its been a while. anyway its good to be writing again. things are good with me...lots of great changes in my life and great things going on in the church i go to. God is doing some really powerful things in the lives of people all over the New Orleans area....he is opening doors that we never thought could be opened yet. there is a great possibility that i may be working with a church soon. please keep this in prayer that God would allow all of us involved to know his will.
i hope everything is good over at Axis and at Portico. i have been praying that God would continue to move in those places and allow His Spirit to work greatly. its funny because we plan so many things in life but no matter what, only the things that God has for us will work out. the true test is whether we can open up the "eyes of our heart" to follow the things that will work (His will for us) and not try to make the other things work. only God truely knows what he has for us....everything is just us waiting around for our turn to do what we think he wants.
"The best layed plans of mice and men go astray" or at least thats what they tell us....however, this is true. make your plans but commit them to the Lord. because in the end there is not a one of us that has any idea what in the world we are doing in life. only He knows. God has a timing for us...everything happens in His time, not our time. the best part of the whole thing is that usually these two time frames are worlds apart if even on the same lines of thought.
be blessed...."keep on keepin on" and always remember who you are and what you stand for....you are the only person that can do what God is asking you to do. no one else can do it the way He would have YOU do it. Will you turn Him down????? |

| Ah, life....its funny how it turns out sometimes. You never really know what is happening until it happens. Just when we thought we know something then it is at that moment that God shows us that we don't. It could be our biggest friend or our worst enemy. Would we want it any other way? Who cares because thats how it is whether we like it or not.
Life is going good right now. If you want to know what I am talking about then just ask. I would love to tell you.
Do you ever wonder what it is that makes you special? What is it that sets you apart from everyone else you know? If we all know the same people and we all do the same things together then what is it that we actually do that sets us apart from the other people we always are with? Right now lots of things are coming to your mind but truely think about it. What is it that you do outside of church or your sphere of friends that makes you what God wants you to be? What is it that makes you a Christian outside of your church? If you know then thats awesome but if you have to think about it then just get out there and make something happen for the God that we serve. He truely wants to know us not just at certain times but all the time. take some time out of your day to make him Lord of your life and not everyone or everything else.
In order for us to be truely free from everything that hinders us then we must first give it all up. when we do that then we realize that there is only one way to look and one thing that matters. That one thing is God...we all know that but how many of us walk that? Do we spend more time with our friends and other things in life than we do alone with him? Think about that for a moment and that will tell you what is the real Lord of your life. Stop the lip service to him and about him and start spending more time with him and in his Glory.
This is just what the Lord has put on my heart. It seems like a good thing to share with friends. |

| so if anyone actually reads this page of mine here are a few thoughts....school is about to start and i am almost happy about that. i got a second job that should be a good fit for my schedule. i guess things are kinda gettin into a groove....i hope this grove doesn't turn into a rut. only time will tell on this one but i am still gonna do what needs to be done. ian (my roommate) comes back tonight....i can't wait because its been lonely without him for a week.
God does good things when we least know that he is doing them. he works things out in ways that are really cool. he teaches us things that we never thought we needed to know and then he gives us the strength to change. i thank him for doing that for us and for the changes that he has allowed me to make. i do not know what the next few weeks will have in store for me. however let me say that these times are in his hands and i can always have faith in that. |

| I pray for restoration with everyone......I want to be right with everyone. I have changed..... When God shows someone that they are wrong then that person has been given the strength of God to have an instant heart change. i thank him for changing my heart and for all that happened the other night. appartently thats what it took for me to see how wrong and hurtfull i was. i apologize to everyone again for my pride. i am the one who was wrong not you.... |
